Teoma was the only
search engine in the
Google Era that offered comparable quality to that of
Google.
Unfortunately, five years after being purchased by
Ask.com, its interface was discontinued and users were forced to use Ask's own interface, even though the
Teoma algorithm was still being used to find relevant results. The end result was a lower quality search result.
