The
Epiphany Web browser
used to support both the
Gecko layout engine
and the
Webkit layout engine
, but as of the
Jaunty Jackalope
release of
Ubuntu GNU/Linux
, the Webkit option has disappeared.
Reading the Ephiphany team's
weblog
indicates that they are actually trying to extricate Gecko, so this seems like an odd state.
