ConnectU

ConnectU was originally named HarvardConnection. It began, as the original name implies, as a way for Harvard students to connect with each other. Later, with the name change, it targeted other universities as well. It continues to exist today as its own web site, but most famously exists as the code running Facebook.com (according to court documents and most of the world outside of official Facebook.com sources).
