Voices who don't know for sure are debating whether we've come to rely too much on the Internet (usually the World Wide Web), and that this reliance is causing us to no longer be able to remember items that people once committed to memory. The other side suggests that, because we can find the details on the Web, this frees us other benefits; for instance to remember more items which we can later look-up.
