FetchOK is a program that was based on the idea behind
fetchmail. FetchOK retrieves a user's mail messages from the
OKCupid web site and stores them in an
mbox formatted file such that they can be read by one of many popular
mail clients. FetchOK also contains the ability to inject mail back into the OKCupid site, which means that a user can both read and respond to messages without needing to log-in and check manually. A
Perl script,
okrelay.pl was also written to call FetchOK from inside of a the mail delivery chain to facilitate interoperability with standard mail clients when sending mail to OKCupid users.
