/Spike's/ is a chain of fast food restaurants in the Boston / Rhode Island area.

They're locally renowned for their hot dogs, among the best served anywhere, and their /junkyard fries/ are also good. Their regular fries by themselves though are disappointingly similar to the type you'd get at your grocer's frozen-food market.

The wings aren't bad, but not exceptional. The fried chicken sandwiches are edible, but don't get them grilled. It's generally a good idea not to stray from the norm; either get a hot dog, or go someplace else. Some additional options during Lent are also stomachable.
