Sprint Nextel Corporation has a series of advertisements claiming that Sprint's mobile data service is "up to 10x faster" than the data services offered by Verizon Wireless and AT&T Wireless based on comparing their fastest sustained average to the latter group's lowest sustained average; a methodology which equally states that Sprint's own service is twice as fast as the self-same service.
