TaxCut is
H&R Block
's
tax preparation software
. Its
online
version works in most
popular web browsers
such as
Mozilla FireFox
across all platforms; unlike
TurboTax
and the
IRS Free File
which both now rely on
Shockwave Flash
which limits the number and types of computers that can use them.
TaxCut is taking a remarkably long time to make
IRS form 5405
available, despite saying it would be available in mid-January, and that they have people "working around the clock". The form is available direct from the
IRS web site
